Western United Football Club (WUFC) has today announced that Probuild, one of Australia’s largest construction companies, will join the Club as its first ever major sponsor and unveiled its inaugural jersey for the 2019/20 Hyundai A-League season, this morning.
As the Club builds from the ground up, Probuild proudly supports the WUFC as both Foundation Partner and Stadium Construction Partner.
Today marked the first time Western United players wore the kit, both home strip and alternate strip with Probuild sublimation.
The partnership, which will see the Probuild logo appear on Western United’s shirts, as well as on the apparel of Western United staff and coaches, officially commenced from 1 July, 2019 and gives the Tier 1 construction company the opportunity to be involved with the new, high performance team.
Western United CEO, Maurice Bisetto, said the Club is thrilled to welcome Probuild to the Western United family.
“Probuild is an incredibly respected business across Australia, and we are honoured to be working with them in what is an exciting time for our club leading into the beginning of our inaugural season.
“Its company ethos aligns closely with what our club stands for, with both organisations striving for the highest quality and success in everything we do,” Bisetto said.
Probuild, a company that is a leader in constructing high quality and technical projects across the country, will build the highly anticipated Wyndham Stadium and precinct – the transformational project with infrastructure, economic and community bene ts for the west.
Probuild Construction Director, Andrew Zinni, expressed how proud he was to be part of the new Probuild and Western United relationship.
“As supporters of Western United Football Club ourselves, a relationship with Western United felt like the perfect t.
“It’s rare that there’s an opportunity to help build a club from the ground up, and that happens to be what we do best! We’re really looking forward to starting this exciting, new journey with an equally exciting, new club,” Zinni said.
On the construction of Wyndham Stadium, Andrew Zinni is personally invested.
“We can’t wait to begin construction on the brand-new purpose-built, state-of-the-art football stadium. As a former Socceroo, this project combines my two passions; construction and football,” Zinni said.
WUFC will join the Hyundai A-League from the start of the 2019/20 season beginning in October this year.
