Western United hits membership record

Western United’s takeover of the West has hit new heights with every postcode across Melbourne’s western suburbs, Geelong and Ballarat now belonging to the Green and Black family.

Eight thousand members have joined the journey this Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s season – a membership record for the Club in only its third season.

The membership growth is a representation of the passion, determination and loyalty of the fans in the West and affirms the direction the Club is going in.

Western United CEO Chris Pehlivanis is thrilled at the continued growth of the Club and its fanbase, but said this is only one small step in long-term vision in the West.

“I’m so proud of all of our loyal members who have re-joined the club and the new members who we have welcomed this year,” Chris Pehlivanis.

“To see our young club growing so quickly is a testament to the vision and belief that the people of the west hold in joining our journey.

“Fans make this club what it is and are the driving force behind everything that we do. I’d like to thank everyone who has come on board from the beginning and look forward to the Green and Black army continuing to grow.”

The Club would sincerely like to thank all of the dedicated fans in the West, right around Victoria and interstate for their continued support both on and off the pitch.

Into its third season in the A-League Men, United is ambitious in search of success in all areas both in performances on the pitch and growth and brand exposure off it.

The Club is eager for future milestones to be reached along the journey and looks forward to the supporters showing their Green and Black colours with pride in the weeks, months and years to come.
