Western United wishes to provide an update on the injury status of Liberty A-League Women player Angie Beard.
Beard was substituted in the 78th minute of United’s 1-0 win in Sunday’s Semi-Final against Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium.
Scans have revealed that Beard has sustained an injury to her foot, which will unfortunately rule her out for the Grand Final on 30 April.
While the team will miss Beard’s ability on the pitch in the Grand Final, her impact and influence on the group will remain as strong as ever as the team prepares for the historic occasion.
