Western United wishes to provide an injury update on Liberty A-League Women duo Stacey Papadopoulos and Harriet Withers.
Papadopoulos was substituted in the 54th minute of United’s win over Brisbane Roar on Saturday with a knee injury.
The injury will require a period of approximately eight weeks of rehabilitation.
Withers underwent surgery on an ankle injury approximately four weeks ago.
The injury required a rehabilitation period of 12 weeks post-surgery, which could allow Withers to become available in the final weeks of the season if her recovery remains on schedule.
Everyone at the Club wishes both Stacey and Harriet swift recoveries and looks forward to seeing them both back on the pitch as soon as possible.
