Western United coaches Kat Smith and John Aloisi have named their extended squads for this weekend’s action with significant returns across both teams.
With United playing another Friday night cracker in the Ninja A-League Women against Central Coast Mariners, Smith will welcome Sara Eggesvik back into contention.

The Green and Black’s new star midfielder fell just short of featuring last week after arriving late from Philippines camp but will be in the mix to face the Mariners in Round 2.
Her inclusion will be a big boost to Smith’s side with significant competition in midfield as she joins Chloe Logarzo, Melissa Taranto and Emily Roach in fighting for places.
Aloisi will welcome an equally monumental addition to his team with captain Ben Garuccio in the frame for selection after recovering from a groin injury.
The left-back has missed each of United’s first three fixtures but has proven his fitness just in time to take on his hometown club on Saturday.
