Western United is gearing up for a huge Term 2 in its Development Centre program and is excited to offer a brand-new offering.
The Speed & Strength Program comes off the back of the success of the first-ever WUFC Speed School during the April holidays and is the perfect athletic development program for young athletes from all sports.

Centring around building explosive speed and all-round strength, the program will help participants gain a competitive edge in their sport, become fitter and reduce their risk of injury.
High-speed and powerful moments are part of every sport and with the help of the expert WUFC Academy coaches and performance staff, this program will get each young athlete in prime athletic shape to dominate on gameday.
This new program comes alongside the existing Development Centre program which is ready to commence for Term 2 of 2025.
Just over a year since its inception, the Development Centre has had proven success in transitioning players into the Western United Junior Academy sides.
The program offers a wholistic training approach, touching on technical, tactical, mental and physical competencies to tailor an all-rounded education to each player.
For Term 2 of 2025, the Development Centre is open for boys and girls born between 2011 and 2015, paving the way for the Green and Black stars of the future in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men and the Ninja A-League Women.
The Development Centre is not just an outdoor program, either, with the Futsal program continuing to run in 2025.
Western United is continuing to develop its footprint in Series Futsal Victoria and is providing opportunities for young talents to extend their game on the indoor court, as well.
The Futsal program is open for boys and girls born from 2011 to 2017.
