Western United’s Luke Duzel has been selected to represent Australia at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
Duzel features in a squad of 21 players picked by Head Coach Trevor Morgan.
The midfielder crossed from Melbourne City last month, joining United as a scholarship player for the 2019/20 season.
Duzel will depart Australia on October 7 and will spend 12 days at a training camp in Santiago, Chile.
The Joeys will then fly to Brazil before their opening match against Ecuador on October 26.
It’s the 13th time Australia will participate in the tournament and will take on Ecuador, Hungary and Nigeria in Group B.
