Western United continue to ramp up their 2020/21 A-League season preparations, this time in Ballarat.
The team will host their first open training session of the season in Ballarat on Friday, before a pre-season friendly against Melbourne City at Morshead Park Stadium on Saturday.
Tickets for the training session and match are limited to members only and due to COVID restrictions, only 115 tickets will be made available for each event.
Members will receive a link via email where they can purchase tickets for the match and/or open training session this week.
All attendees are required to register their details as part of COVID protocols.
Prior to Saturday’s clash between the two A-League teams, Calder United Soccer Club will play two curtain-raisers.
Calder United Under 19’s will play an intra club match at 10:00 am, before the seniors face Ballarat City FC at 12:00pm.
The curtain raisers follow last week’s partnership announcement between Western and Calder United.
Members who miss out on tickets for this weekend are encouraged to save the dates for the team’s next visit to Ballarat during the A-League season proper.
The Green and Black will face Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday, 7 March and Brisbane Roar on Saturday, 22 May at Mars Stadium in Ballarat.
