Western United has partnered with another of the leading academic institutions in the West with Good News Lutheran College (GNLC) joining the Green and Black family as a Community School Partner.
This follows Bacchus Marsh Grammar becoming the first school to take up this new partnership offering with Western United, growing the Club’s network in the West.
GLNC is just a stone’s throw away from Ironbark Fields, located right in the Club’s heartland in Tarneit and breeding the next generation of leaders in the West.
As part of this deal, GLNC students and staff will have opportunities for exclusive visits and experiences both on campus and at Ironbark Fields, giving their community enriching experiences that will empower their members.
Western United General Manager Community Development & Partnerships Aylin Bagdadi said strengthening the ties with a school so close to home was essential for the Club’s growth.
“Good News Lutheran College is so close to us in Tarneit and it was a no-brainer to extend our partnership and continue to work together this season,” she said.
“We have enjoyed working closely with the team at GNLC and we look forward to extending on that work to offer them exclusive opportunities and strong support for their school programs.
“With two schools already signed on as partners, we are thrilled to continue giving back to our community in the West and look forward to continuing to shape the future for the young people in the region.”
Good News Lutheran College Principal Fiona McAuliffe said:
“Good News is look forward to creating success together with Western United.”
Western United will continue to partner with schools, clubs and organisations in the west of Victoria to empower individuals in the region to achieve greatness.
