Western United will begin its new journey into the Liberty A-League Women with a blockbuster rivalry clash against Melbourne Victory.
The home fixture will be played at City Vista Pavilion and Sports Field – the first of five home matches at the venue in the West – at 3pm on Saturday November 19.
The Green and Black family can flock to the West to get a glimpse of Matildas star Chloe Logarzo, Filipina midfielder Jaclyn Sawicki and local talents Alana Cerne and Aleksandra Sinclair as they make history for the Club.
Following that, United’s first away trip will be a tricky one to Sky Stadium to face Wellington Phoenix on Saturday November 16 before another road trip in Round 3 to take on Adelaide United.
Mark Torcaso’s side will have its first bye in Round 4 before battling Melbourne City in Round 5 and taking a second bye in quick succession in Round 6.
That will lead the Green and Black into a hectic summer schedule with seven games in 31 days, including an away trip to reigning Champions Sydney FC and a maiden battle against Canberra United on Saturday January 28.
The following week will see United continue to strengthen its connection to the people of Ballarat with the side set to host Perth Glory at Morshead Park, before returning to the venue a month later to do battle with Sydney FC.
Two games at City Vista will round out the regular season with United hosting Canberra on March 25 and Western Sydney Wanderers on April 1, by which time all 11 teams will know where they stand in the race for finals.
The venues for two matches are still to be confirmed, with potential double headers in line with A-League Men matches also on Saturday January 21 and Saturday February 11.
