Western United will add another piece of history to its ever-growing list by hosting a first-ever Isuzu UTE A-League Men Elimination Final at Ironbark Fields on Friday 9 May.
After a record-breaking regular season, the Green and Black will face Adelaide United for a spot in the semi-finals with kick-off set for 7:35pm in Tarneit as Wyndham City becomes the first Victorian location outside the CBD to host an Isuzu UTE A-League final.
Western United members will receive a 10% discount on tickets while reserved seat members will have the first rights to purchase their same seat for this match, with more information on the ticketing process to come soon.
The match will mark United’s men’s team’s return to the post-season for the first time since winning the Championship in 2022 and the return of finals football to Tarneit following the Ninja A-League Women Elimination Final last year.
John Aloisi’s men are bursting into the finals series, securing the Club’s greatest ever points haul (47), wins total (14) and goals tally (55) in a single season.

Ironbark Fields has become a fortress with the Green and Black winning five matches in a row on home soil and seven overall in 11 matches this season.
Western and Adelaide split the two meetings during the regular season, the most recent of those coming in February where Western romped to a 3-0 win at Ironbark.
The boys in green have fed off the raucous support of the Green and Black faithful with an electric atmosphere and dedicated following at each game this season.
Now, we need you more than ever. The stakes go up a notch in finals football Ironbark needs to be the loudest, craziest and most fired up it has ever been.
