Two Western United stars have made the Hyundai A-League Team of the Week for Round 4.
Panagiotis Kone and Scott McDonald each feature in the side after their stellar performances in the comeback 3-2 win over Melbourne Victory on Saturday night.
Kone was pivotal for the Green and Black, controlling the midfield with and without the ball.
McDonald meanwhile was brilliant throughout, playing a key role in his side’s second goal, while also hitting the post from a long-range effort in the first half before his match-winner in the second half.
The two combined to devastating effect after the break.
Kone found McDonald inside the penalty area, whose shot deflected into the net to make it 3-2 as United held on for a famous win.
