Western United can confirm that after three seasons, the Club and Simonds Homes will not be renewing their partnership agreement.

The Club extends its heartfelt thanks to Simonds Homes for their significant support in helping to build the Club in its formative years.

Simonds Homes first featured on the front of the Western United home jersey in the 2020/21 Isuzu UTE A-League Men season before being emblazoned across both jerseys in the following two campaigns.

One of those seasons was of course in 2021/22, where Simonds Homes was a key extension of the Club during the run to the Isuzu UTE A-League Championship.

Simonds also supported United’s inaugural Liberty A-League Women team last season, featuring on the back of both jerseys in that competition.

Western United General Manager of Commercial Chris Speldewinde thanked the Simonds family and everyone in the organisation who supported the Club.

“I would like to thank everyone that we came across at Simonds Homes over the duration of our partnership for their support and efforts in helping to grow our young Club,” he said.

“I particularly need to thank the Simonds family for treating us as one of their own and for the opportunity to work with their organisation.

“We thank Simonds Homes for their valuable contribution and wish them all the best as an organisation. We look forward to continuing to work with partners new and old as we approach another significant season for our Club.”

Western United will announce a new front-of-shirt sponsor alongside the Club’s kit release for the 2023/24 A-Leagues season over the next week.

United’s kits will continue to feature the Simonds Homes logo for the remainder of the 2023 Australia Cup campaign.
