Western United will wear the third kits with a special Good Friday Appeal addition for the upcoming Superhero Rounds in April.
Last week, the Club announced its partnership with the Good Friday Appeal for 2025, one of the most largely recognisable charities in Victoria and Australia.
With the Isuzu UTE A-League Men squad set to kick off the celebratory rounds on Saturday 5 April against Perth Glory, the striking black third kit will be making another appearance.
The following week, the Ninja A-League Women team will also don the special strip when it takes on Adelaide United in the final home match of the season.
Each player will have the Good Friday Appeal logo added to their kit and each kit will go to auction with MatchWornShirt after the respective games.
All proceeds from the auctions will go directly to the Good Friday Appeal, meaning Western United fans can get their hands on the kits of stars like Noah Botic and Chloe Logarzo while also making a difference in the community.
Add a donation to the Good Friday Appeal
And that’s not all. From today all the way until Good Friday (18 April), $10 from every Isuzu UTE A-League Men third kit purchased either at Ironbark Fields on matchday or online via the Club shop will be donated to the Good Friday Appeal.
Upon purchase, fans will also have the opportunity to add the Good Friday Appeal logo to their own kit for an additional $5, with that entire total also contributing to Western United’s total donation.
This is just one of the first in a number of exciting announcements to come around the upcoming Superhero Rounds as Western United looks to do its part in the community.
For over 80 years, the Good Friday Appeal has raised nearly $500 million towards research, equipment, technology and care programs for some of Victoria’s greatest superheroes at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
