Ben Garuccio signed for Western United ahead of the 2021/22 season and wasted no time in making history for the Green and Black.

The left-back played all but two matches as John Aloisi’s side went all the way that season, lifting the A-League Men Championship after a 2-0 win over Melbourne City – his former side – in the Grand Final.

That wasn’t all that season for Garuccio, who won the Goal of the Season award after a ridiculous scorpion kick against Western Sydney Wanderers and also claimed the Western United Player of the Season medal.

Ben has remained a key player on the pitch and a vital leader off it for Western United as he helps take the Club into its exciting new era at Ironbark Fields.
