Biography
Dylan Leonard joined the Western United Academy in 2024 and made an immediate impression at the Club, signing his first professional contract in June of that year at just 16 years of age.
A true modern-day centre-back, Leonard mixes composed ball-playing with superb physical strength, leadership and defensive intelligence at the back.
His development also quickly caught the eye of national team selectors with selection in the Young Socceroos squad for the ASEAN U-19 Boys’ Championship. Leonard featured prominently at that tournament and captained the side during the group stages as the Young Socceroos picked up a bronze medal.
One of Western United’s most exciting young talents, Dylan will continue working to improve his game and make an impact on John Aloisi’s senior team.
