Michael Vonja

Michael Vonja signed his first-ever professional contract with Western United as a 17-year-old ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The youngster put pen to paper after shining with the Club’s Academy in 2023, winning the Under 21’s Club Champion award and breaking into the senior side for the first time.

Born and bred in the West having played his junior football at Caroline Springs George Cross FC, Michael has represented Australia multiple times at Under-17 level and will continue to develop as one of the country’s top young goalkeepers.
