Oliver Lavale, a promising young forward at Western United, has had an inspiring journey from being a fan of the club to signing his first professional contract.

The 19 year-old made his senior debut in the 2023 Australia Cup in a 2-0 win over Gold Coast Knights. This performance highlighted his potential and earned him further opportunities in the quarter-final against Sydney FC, solidifying his place within the team and impressing head coach John Aloisi with his maturity and commitment to his craft​

His transition from the youth ranks to senior football has shown his dedication and capability to make an impact, and he’ll be aiming to earn more minutes in the A-League Men’s competition. He has already started 3 out of 4 games, yet to hit the net but hungry to strike home.
