Rhys Bozinovski
23 Midfielder
Rhys Bozinovski was one of the first players to progress from Western United’s inaugural Academy squad into the A-League Men side, signing his first pro deal as a 17-year-old in 2021.
The midfielder made his debut less than a year later in the final round of the regular season against Adelaide United, becoming the third-youngest player to debut for Western United.
Despite that being his first senior appearance, Rhys played an important role throughout the Finals Series with substitute cameos at each stage of the post-season, including in the Grand Final as United defeated Melbourne City 2-0 to win its first A-League Men Championship.
Bozinovski has remained one of United’s most exciting young prospects and has earned multiple national team opportunities with the Young Socceroos, adding to his reputation as one of the nation’s best midfield talents.
