biography-icon Biography

Tom Heward-Belle joined Western United from Sydney FC ahead of the 2023/24 season. Having played in a Grand Final with the Sky Blues, the shot stopper arrived in the West looking for more regular first team opportunities and immediately made an impression.

A stunning debut against Melbourne City kicked off a strong season for the No.1, one which saw him voted as the Fans’ Player of the Season after making 22 appearances in goal.

A tall, athletic and dexterous shot-stopper with excellent distribution skills, Tom has immediately become a fan favourite and a reliable custodian in between the sticks.
