Western United fans will enjoy another double header of A-Leagues action at Ironbark Fields this season after Australian Professional Leagues confirmed a fixture change.

United’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men Round 15 fixture against Newcastle Jets has been rescheduled for Friday 17 January, kicking off at 5:00pm AEST ahead of the blockbuster Ninja A-League Women clash against Melbourne City.

The perfect time for a summer football bonanza in the school holidays, the day will be a showcase of the very best of Australian football for the fans in Tarneit to enjoy.

The Green and Black will be eager for a repeat of the last Isuzu UTE A-League meeting with the Jets which ended in a 2-0 win at AAMI Park in February.

That game will kick off a run of four home matches within five fixtures as the summer of Australian football heats up in the middle of the season.

The Ninja A-League side will follow suit with a huge derby against Melbourne City, looking to retain its unbeaten record against its rivals so far.

Elswhere, Western United’s Round 4 clash has been moved to a 7:35pm AEDT kick-off, now sitting in the Channel 10 broadcast slot.

You won’t miss a minute of the action if you secure your Western United membership before the start of the season. Sign up now and Bleed Green for the West.
