A-League Men Champions heading to Highpoint for WUFC Trophy Tour

Western United will bring a host of its Isuzu UTE A-League Men Championship stars to Highpoint Shopping Centre next week as the Trophy Tour gets into full swing.

Following appearances at Woodgrove Shopping Centre in Melton over the weekend, the trophy will move to Highpoint from Tuesday, September 6 with two defensive stars set to be on show.

Grand Final captain Josh Risdon and goalkeeper Jamie Young will be in attendance to meet fans on Tuesday, sign autographs and take pictures.

Ben Garuccio and Connor Pain will follow suit on Thursday September 8, bringing a star presence to the Trophy Tour at Highpoint.

Both pairs of players on each day will be at the activation from 4pm until until 4:30pm, ready to meet all of the Green and Black fans that come down.

Further player appearances will be confirmed at a later date as the Trophy Tour remains at Highpoint for an entire week, giving Green and Black fans plenty of time to get in and see some of their favourite heroes.

As will be the case at each stop along the tour, there will be plenty of fun activities and the chance to win some great prizes by guessing the number of balls in a mystery ‘W’.

Western United’s Membership staff will also be available to speak to fans about the upcoming season and get you ready to support the Green and Black once again.

The Green and Black station will be set up on Level 2 right by the Nike store, and anyone in the United family is encouraged to head down, take part in the fun and rub shoulders with the Champions.

As the Championship Trophy Tour rolls through its first full week, the Club is excited to be out in the community and celebrate the success with the fans and thank them for their unwavering support through the Club’s first three years.

Put on some Green and Black and get out to see the players and the trophy at Highpoint Shopping Centre next week, and stay tuned for more updates for the remainder of the Trophy Tour.
