Western United can confirm that striker Dylan Wenzel-Halls has left the Club after both parties agreed to a mutual termination in order for the player to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
Wenzel-Halls departs having made 34 appearances since the beginning of last season, scoring five goals in that time.
The pick of the bunch was his second strike for the Club, a low drive against Melbourne City in Round 3 of the 2021/22 season.
His most memorable while wearing No.9 for Western United, though, was the clincher in the Green and Black’s famous semi-final win over Melbourne Victory in May.
Wenzel-Halls was a key part of United’s Championship-winning team in 2021/22, making 27 appearances across the season and starting all four matches in the Finals Series.
The striker leaves with the first winner’s medal of his career and having also surpassed 100 matches in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men while at the Club.
Everyone at Western United thanks Dylan for his contribution to the Club on and off the pitch and wishes him every success with the next steps of his footballing career.
