Five reasons why you should purchase the Tasmania Superpass

Western United is set to return to Tasmania for the second edition of the Macca’s Festival of Football, and the Tasmania Superpass is a United fan’s ticket to all the exciting things on offer across the weekend.

From Saturday April 16 to Tuesday April 19 there will be loads of action for Western United fans to engage with, from open training sessions to curtain raiser matches and gala days in conjunction with Football Tasmania.

Purchase your Tasmania Superpass now

The Tasmania Superpass will bring Western United fans right into all of the action, with huge value at an affordable price. Here are five reasons why the Tasmania Superpass is essential for all Western United fans.

Huge price reduction for 2022

At just $37.60 for adults, $26.39 for concession and $74 for a family of four, the Tasmania Superpass has been heavily reduced from last year and is now even more affordable for Western United supporters.

As has been the case with the entire season at the Club, all passes for kids under 12 will be free, and the family passes reflect that at the price of just two paying adults.

Western United is continuing to strengthen its partnership with Football Tasmania, and $5 from each Tasmania Superpass purchase will go to supporting the organisation to ensure all people in Tasmania can enjoy football.

Two massive Western United matches on offer

The two headline acts of the 2022 Macca’s Festival of Football are, of course, Western United’s two Isuzu UTE A-League Men matches.

The Green and Black will have just five regular season matches remaining when it arrives in Launceston and three when it leaves, with silverware still to be decided in the final weeks of the campaign.

That means the two fixtures in Tasmania are set to be crucial for the run in to the season and could decide Western United’s standing in the finals, and whether or not John Aloisi and his players will get their hands on the Premier’s Plate.

Perth Glory and Macarthur FC will be standing in United’s way in two massive games, where the Green and Black will be out to pick up maximum points heading into the end of the season.

Loads of action on and off the pitch

All of that action on the pitch will be supplemented by great excitement off it with an exciting activation zone inside Gate 1 at UTAS Stadium on match day with plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Both A-League Men matches will have curtain raiser games played before them, with Hobart United and Launceston City set to clash in the Lakoseljac Cup Round of 16 ahead of the Perth game on Saturday.

Leading up to the Tuesday night fixture, Western United fans will have the chance to witness a bit of history as United’s women’s squad will play its first ever game together against a Tasmanian Select XI.

Mark Torcaso has been training the players in the Women’s Development Squad for a number of weeks now, and the side is ready for its first proper match together ahead of receiving it’s A-League Women licence later in the year.

There will also be open training sessions so fans can get up close and personal with their Western United heroes and collect photos and signatures with the entire squad.
