Western United is gearing up for Round 8 of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men and to get back in front of its home fans. The Green and Black family will be treated to a spectacular fan zone this weekend at Gosch’s Paddock.
Kicking off at 3pm, the match against Western Sydney Wanderers at AAMI Park is the perfect family-friendly afternoon of fun. With the forecast showing a clear and sunny afternoon, there will be no better place to be than celebrating with the United family.
Gosch’s Paddock will have heaps of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Beginning from 1:30pm, with 90 minutes leading into the first whistle of the match, the tunes will be pumping from the DJ tent with the WUFC football inflatables, giant dartboard and inflatable pitch for kids to enjoy.
There will also be a special visit from rescue dogs at Greyhound Racing. The four-legged friends will be there to meet all of the United fans. These dogs have been re-trained to be socialised and domesticated and will be on their day beds soaking in the vibes and taking photos with fans at Gosch’s Paddock. The dogs are also ready for adoption to a new home.
Our friends from Victoria University will be joining in the Green and Black fun with a station set up with an amazing soccer agility activation and plenty of giveaways on offer for fans of all ages.
Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation will be back on deck with their badge-making cart along with posters and postcards for fans to treasure and take home.
Heading into the match, Western United supporters can get themselves looking the part with the WUFC Membership & Merchandise tent and face painting ensuring AAMI Park can be covered in Green and Black.
The fan zone will help get you in the sporting mood and lead the United crowd into a huge fixture, with John Aloisi’s side out to get an important three points.
