Western United will remain kitted out on and off the pitch by world-leading sport company Kappa, who has signed on to be the Club’s official apparel provider for at least the next three seasons.
Kappa has been Western United’s Technical Partner since the Club’s inception and will continue to kit out the players on and off the pitch with stylish, high-quality technical apparel.
Since the beginning of the partnership in 2019, Kappa has gone on to strengthen its commitment to Western United by providing apparel for the inaugural Liberty A-League Women program, as well as the Club’s entire Academy program.
Western United CEO Chris Pehlivanis thanked Kappa for their support and said he is looking forward to continuing to grow the relationship.
“One of the most important things with starting our club was finding an identity with our colours and kits, and Kappa have allowed us to do this,” he said.
“From the beginning, Kappa have given us the best quality products for our players and staff to feel comfortable and perform at their best.
“As well as the quality of their product, Zevi and the team have given us excellent service and have been fantastic to work with. We are grateful to all of Kappa’s support so far and I’m delighted to continue to work together for the next three seasons.”
Kappa Director Ze’ev Bogaty said he is eager to help create more lasting memories for Western United on and off the pitch.
“We recognise how important the club jersey is to both players and fans, and the club’s identity,” Bogaty said.
“It is a hugely important part of the club, and we strive to provide the very latest technology in fabrics and cutting-edge design.
“As our partnership evolves, we are especially thrilled to continue our support of the Liberty A-League Women team and are fully committed to providing the highest standard and design of female cut apparel.”
Kappa is an innovative global sports brand that has been leading the market for over 100 years since it was founded in 1916.
The Omini logo pictures the silhouette of a man and a woman sitting back to back, representing equality and mutual support of men and women.
As Western United has moved into an all-encompassing Club with elite teams in both professional divisions, the values of both the Club and Kappa continue to align strongly.
Western United looks forward Kappa’s continued support in growing the Club’s brand on and off the football field while simultaneously using its platform to showcase Kappa to the wider world.
