Nikolai Topor-Stanley will join The Green Room on FNR as Western United’s dedicated Club show returns on Wednesday night.
United’s No.44 is set to make Australian football history by playing his 359th match in the A-League Men this weekend, overtaking Andrew Durante as the all-time record holder for games played across the A-Leagues.
The recently-turned 37-year-old has continued to take his game to new levels with each passing season and has had a major impact on United’s success this season.
Topor-Stanley recently scored his first goal for the Green and Black in the 1-1 draw with Melbourne Victory and also has an assist to his name from centre-back this season.
Across two stints with Newcastle Jets and spells at Western Sydney Wanderers, Perth Glory and Sydney FC, Topor-Stanley has become a legend of the A-Leagues, bringing with him memorable moments everywhere he has been.
He will join the show to speak about his best career memories to date, chasing big dreams at Western United and what is still to come for him on the pitch.
Western United’s General Manager Football Operations Mal Impiombato will also join the show, with plenty to discuss in a busy period for the Club.
Construction works have begun on the Club’s training facility in Tarneit, Western United is still challenging at the top of the A-League Men table, the NPL 3 season has returned and the Macca’s Festival of Football in Tasmania is just around the corner.
Impiombato will discuss all that and more on the show as the Club heads into an incredibly exciting period, with silverware on the line and finals football not too far away.
Tune in to hear it all live from 7pm tonight on Western United’s Facebook page as well as on FNR’s channels on Twitter and Twitch.
