John Aloisi has named his Western United squad for the 2022/23 Isuzu UTE A-League Men opener against Melbourne City.
The Green and Black is set to renew hostilities with its crosstown rival for the first time since the Grand Final in May, where United ran out 2-0 winners to claim its first A-League Men Championship.
New signings James Troisi, Tongo Doumbia and Jacob Tratt are all in the squad and could be in line for their debuts, while Sebastian Pasquali is included for the first time since June 2021.
