Western United can confirm an update to its extended 20-man squad ahead of Saturday’s clash against Central Coast Mariners.
Attacking midfielder James Troisi succumbed to a calf strain late in the week and has not travelled with the team to Gosford.
Adisu Bayew has completed his return from a hamstring injury and will take Troisi’s place, coming into the extended list for the first time this season.
The Western United Academy graduate scored his first two senior goals last season and will continue to increase his sharpness as he eyes more minutes on the pitch.
