Round 5 squad: Western United vs Adelaide United

James Troisi Western United

Western United’s extended 20-man squad for Sunday’s visit of Adelaide United has been confirmed, with one player returning from injury.

John Aloisi will be able to welcome back attacking midfielder James Troisi after he missed last weekend’s defeat to Central Coast Mariners.

Troisi had been managing a minor calf strain but has recovered and is back in contention now against his former side.

Another ex-Adelaide United player that will be hoping to make an impact is Jacob Tratt, who could be in line for his first Western United start with Nikolai Topor-Stanley missing out due to suspension.

Fresh from making his first appearance of the season on Saturday, Rhys Bozinovski remains in the extended squad, as does Adisu Bayew and goal scorer Nicolas Milanovic.
