Ryan Scott will be the first guest on The Green Room on FNR Football Nation Radio in 2022 when the show returns on Wednesday.
After a break over the Christmas period, the Western United show will return from 7pm on Wednesday January 19 ahead of the Club’s first match of the year on Friday.
Scott will preview United’s return to the pitch and first interstate trip of the season, with the Green and Black set to visit Wellington Phoenix in Wollongong.
Despite having not played since Boxing Day, Western United is still in third place on the Isuzu UTE A-League Men table and a win across the border would take the Green and Black to the top.
Scott has made one appearance so far this season – incidentally against Wellington in the FFA Cup – and remains a favourite with both the fans and his Western United colleagues.
Also joining the show will be Western United fan Jay Sutcliffe, who is part of the All Out West Podcast driven by the Club’s supporters.
Following an entertaining feature from Caleb Trimble on the last show before Christmas, this will continue a segment on the show dedicated to the Club’s loyal supporters.
In the absence of matches of late, United has sorely missed the voice and support of the fans and the Club is eagerly awaiting the next home match against Melbourne City on Saturday January 29.
