Shuttle Bus and Game Day Menu for Western United fans in Ballarat

Western United Mars Stadium Ballarat

Western United and Mars Stadium will offer its members and fans some fantastic services to enhance the matchday experience as the Green and Black returns to Ballarat.

John Aloisi’s side will be out to return to the top of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men ladder with a win over Newcastle Jets on Saturday, with the match set to kick off at 3:05pm at Mars Stadium.

To assist fans in making the trip over to Ballarat from either Melbourne or from the western suburbs, Western United will run a shuttle bus service between Mars Stadium and the Ballarat Railway station both before and after the match.

Supporters travelling to Ballarat by V-Line can catch the shuttle bus to the stadium at either 2:00pm or 2:45pm, taking them directly from the stadium to the arena for the match.

The same service will run directly after the match with two different timeslots – one being directly after the match at 5:00pm and the other departing at 5:30pm.

Pick-up at the Ballarat Station will be on Lydiard Street adjacent to the V-Line bus bays. Drop-off and pick-up at Mars Stadium will be at the bus stop located at the front of the stadium.

With parking limited in and around the stadium, public transport remains a popular way for fans to arrive at the match and Western United hopes this service will support members of the Green and Black family in getting to the game and wearing their colours in the stands.

As well as that service, Western United has teamed up with the North Ballarat Sports Club at Mars Stadium to offer a Game Day Menu.

This special menu will be available for Western United members and North Ballarat Sports Club members only and is a slight twist on the member menu from previous years.

On top of that, United fans can enjoy a host of exciting activities both inside and outside the ground across the entire day, with face painting, roaming performers and a number of exciting giveaways on offer.

The first 250 patrons to enter the stadium will win a free Maccas McCafe Coffee voucher, while the half-time Kick for Cash competition will be boosted by Haymes Paint in conjunction with 61 Design.

Tickets are now on sale, and the Ballarat Superpass is the best way to enjoy all of the action in Ballarat over the next month. Make it a weekend away in Ballarat with the Green and Black and cheer on Western United to another important victory.
