John Aloisi could welcome back as many as three key first-team players for Western United’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men Round 19 clash against Perth Glory.
The Championship-winning contingent includes defender Nikolai Topor-Stanley, who Aloisi confirmed is in contention to feature.
The No.44 is back in the squad having missed the last three matches with a muscle issue and gives United a near full complement of defenders, with Josh Risdon and Ben Garuccio both making their comebacks to the squad last week.
Another big inclusion in the extended squad is Steven Lustica who could be in line for his first appearance since Round 5 back in early November.
United’s No.10 has been on the sidelines with a hamstring injury but returns to the extended 20-man squad with the hope of featuring on matchday.
Serbian striker Aleksandar Prijovic has also been named in the 20-man squad after missing last weekend’s trip to Newcastle, and he will hope to put himself in line for selection on Saturday.
Aloisi revealed in his pre-match press conference that Ramy Najjarine could be just a couple of weeks away from being able to make his Western United debut.
Rhys Bozinovski remains absent on international duty with the Young Socceroos, while Connor O’Toole has picked up a minor groin issue and will miss this clash.
