Western United ALM Squad: Round 20 vs Melbourne Victory

John Aloisi Western United

John Aloisi’s 20-man extended squad is in for Western United’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men grudge match against Melbourne Victory on Monday night.

The Green and Black will be out to make it four wins in a row against Victory in all competitions but will be without James Troisi in its attempt to do so.

The attacking midfielder was substituted in the first-half of United’s 2-1 win against Perth Glory last week with a hamstring injury and will spend a brief spell on the sidelines as a result.

Jacob Tratt, Adisu Bayew and Sebastian Pasquali have all come back into the extended squad and will be vying for a place among the 18 on matchday.

Jamie Young is set to make his 50th league appearance for the Green and Black, becoming the quickest player to do so for the Club having played every Isuzu UTE A-League match since signing at the beginning of last season.

Aloisi could give increased minutes to Steven Lustica after he made his return from injury last week, while Nikolai Topor-Stanley is available again having been named on the bench against Perth.\
