Western United is due to contest Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday February 5, making up the second of its four previously postponed matches.

United was due to play Melbourne Victory on the day, but with Tony Popovic’s side contesting the FFA Cup Final against Central Coast Mariners, that fixture has been postponed to a later date.

In its place, Western United will take on the Wanderers for the first time this season, looking to continue its strong start to the 2021/22 Isuzu UTE A-League Men campaign.

The Club will leave Melbourne for Sydney on Monday ahead of its clash with Macarthur FC on Tuesday night, and will stay across the border for the week to prepare for the next match.

The fixture against Western Sydney will take place at CommBank Stadium, with kick-off set for 5:05pm AEDT.

Western United begins the week in equal top spot on the table, while Western Sydney sits second bottom with one win in seven games, and recently appointed Mark Rudan as its new head coach.
