Western United fan to take home up to $10k at Food Relief match

Western United Food Relief

Western United will add an extra layer of entertainment and charity support to its Foodbank Food Relief match against Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday, February 20.

Foodbank Victoria has joined with the 61 Design Kick to Win half-time competition to create an outstanding cash prize for one lucky entrant at AAMI Park.

Everyone that donates to Foodbank from 12pm Monday, February 14 to 6:30pm on Sunday, February 20 will go into the running to be chosen to take part in the promotion.

One lucky winner will be selected over the course of the first half of the match and will be invited onto the pitch for three chances to take home up to $10,000 in cash.

Instead of the usual 61-metre bomb into the vacant goal, the competition has been altered and will become a standard crossbar challenge with three separate opportunities to maximise the winnings.

The first kick will be taken from 30 metres away from the goal with a $10,000 reward, before the distance and prize money falls in subsequent efforts.

A kick from 20 metres will have a $1,000 prize and a third and final kick from 10 metres, should it be needed, will be worth $500. If the crossbar is not rattled after three kicks, the contestant will take home a $61 consolation prize.

Western United is eager to see wide participation from its supporter base, partners and the extended Green and Black family, with all benefits set to go towards supporting Foodbank Victoria continue its amazing work to put meals on the table in the community; particularly in the West.

All entrants into the competition must be aged 18 years or over, and terms and conditions apply.

Donate to Foodbank Victoria now to help those in need, and do your part to aid food relief in the community.
