Western United is Ballarat bound as it continues the 2022/23 season. The 2021/22 Isuzu Ute A-League Men Champions are gearing up for a spectacular return to its regional home in Ballarat, taking on Newcastle Jets on Sunday March 15 at Mars Stadium.

Western United CEO Chris Pehlivanis said he and the entire Club is eager to get back in front of the loyal fans in Ballarat.

“The Ballarat region as a whole – the fans, the council and all the partners – have been such big and important supporters of our Club throughout our existence so far,” he said.

“Our Ballarat fans and family are a crucial part of our team. They’ve been integral to our journey as a Club so far. I’m really excited by the offer we’ve put together as well for our passionate fans who will be making the journey out to the region.”

Pehlivanis continued with an impassioned call out to fans.

“We’re calling on all our fans to come out, show your support for the team and get behind the Green and Black, hopefully we get a great turn out and can put on a great game of football in Ballarat.”

John Aloisi’s men are ready to play Newcastle in Ballarat for the second year running. United will be hoping to secure the all-important three points and continue to push up the table heading into the back half of the season.
