Western United Isuzu UTE A-League Men Injury Update – March 2024

Noah Botic Western United

Western United will unfortunately be without Noah Botic for an extended period of time in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, with the striker suffering a navicular stress fracture.

The 22-year-old has played himself into tremendous form of late, scoring four goals in his last six matches.

That run will cruelly come to a halt, though, with this injury also ruling Botic out of the Olyroos’ upcoming camp in Saudi Arabia for the WAFF U23 Championship.

Alongside Botic, Ramy Najjarine will unfortunately miss the remainder of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men season after undergoing surgery on his shoulder.

Everyone at Western United sends its best wishes to Noah and Ramy and will continue to support both players through their recovery processes.

In positive news for John Aloisi’s side, Connor O’Toole is available for selection again and Oliver Lavale is drawing closer to a return to team training.

Tom Heward-Belle is continuing to manage a finger issue while Jacob Tratt is progressing in his recovery from a knee ligament injury and is nearing a return.

Aloisi has begun to welcome back a number of injured players in recent weeks with Riku Danzaki featuring off the bench over United’s last two matches.

Ben Garuccio and Daniel Penha both made their returns in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Perth Glory – Garuccio completed the full 90 minutes and Penha impressed as a substitute.
