Tongo Doumbia will wear the No.7 on his back this season as he looks to make an impact in the centre of midfield.

The Mali international has impressed his new teammates and coaches throughout pre-season and will look to make a name for himself in the No.7, just as his predecessor Besart Berisha did.

The No.14 has been the number of choice for James Troisi throughout his career and the former Socceroo will once again step out on the pitch with that number.

After joining from Western Sydney Wanderers, Troisi will be hoping to play a key role in attack with his creativity and quality in the final third.

Defender Jacob Tratt has stepped into the No.27 jersey for the new season, while Western United Academy graduate Jake Najdovski will take No.49 as his first senior squad number.

The remainder of the senior squad will hold onto their existing squad numbers, meaning Jamie Young retains the No.1 jersey in goal while Ryan Scott will wear No.37 again in recognition of his beloved DMA’s.

Leo Lacroix keeps the No.4, Player of the Season Ben Garuccio will wear 17 while key numbers 8, 9, 10 and 11 will be worn by Lachie Wales, Dylan Wenzel-Halls, Steven Lustica and Connor Pain respectively.

Captain Alessandro Diamanti holds onto No.23 for the fourth season in a row and vice-captain Josh Risdon will keep the No.19, also a squad number that he has worn since the Club’s inaugural year.

Nikolai Topor-Stanley (44), Neil Kilkenny (88) and Aleksandar Prijovic (99) will once again wear their distinctive high numbers, hoping they continue to bring them success on the pitch.
