Western United will bring an end to its 2021/22 season with the inaugural WUFC Gala Awards Night presented by Tasman Logistics, celebrating a landmark campaign in the Club’s history.
Simonds Homes and Werribee Automotive Group will also be key to the event as Platinum and Gold Event Partners respectively.

United enjoyed its best-ever regular season to date, returned to the A-League Men Finals and won an Elimination Final for the second time in three years and remains one game away from a maiden Grand Final appearance.
The WUFC Gala will be a celebration of all of the Club’s achievements both on and off the football field with the chance to glam up, enjoy a three-course meal and entertainment alongside the presentation of a number of awards, including Western United’s Player of the Season.
The event will be held at the Victoria Pavilion at Melbourne Showgrounds on Wednesday June 1, commencing at 6:30pm and concluding at 11:30pm.
Notable football broadcaster David Basheer and popular television personality Catriona Rowntree will host the night, speaking with guests, announcing awards and providing an engaging event experience.
Alongside the Player of the Season gong, there will be a host of honours handed out to Western United’s star players including Young Player of the Season, the Golden Boot and Club Person of the Season.
Fans will also have the opportunity to be involved with a Fans’ Player of the Season award and the Emerald Goal Award for the goal of the season both decided by fan voting. Two lucky fans that vote for the awards will also be given the chance to present the award to the winning player in person at the WUFC Gala.

Tickets are on sale and priced at $250 per individual ticket or $2000 for a full table of 10, with the ticket inclusive of the three-course meal and other entertainment throughout the night.
