Western United to provide shuttle bus from Geelong to AAMI Park

Western United fans

Western United fans will be able to travel from GMHBA Stadium in Geelong to AAMI Park and back free of charge for the side’s huge Elimination Final against Wellington Phoenix this weekend.

United’s loyal fans in Geelong have been aboard the Green and Black bandwagon ever since the first season and the Club would like to thank fans by putting on this transport service.

The shuttle bus will leave from Gate 13 at GMHBA Stadium and head straight to AAMI Park before completing the reverse trip after the match.

Fans are urged to arrive at GMHBA Stadium at 4:45pm for a 5:15pm sharp departure to ensure they are on time and on board the bus to arrive at the match.

The return trip will see the bus depart AAMI Park 30 minutes after the completion of the match, with the possibility of extra time or a penalty shootout given the Finals format.

This match will be the first ever home final for Western United with fans able to attend and the Club is eager to see streaks of Green and Black across the stadium to support the team.

Western United enjoyed its best ever A-League Men regular season in 2021/22, achieving the highest ever finish on the league table on the back of club record totals in wins and points achieved.

In just its third season in existence, United is returning to the Finals for the second time and is continuing to strive to make history in the remainder of this month.

Tickets are now on sale for the match for members before general public tickets go on sale on Thursday May 12 at 11am.

All fans wishing to travel on the shuttle bus from Geelong must provide evidence of double vaccination against COVID-19 and must also wear a mask on the coach for the duration of the journey.

Secure your seat by emailing lisa.pacher@westernmelbourne.com and please advise how many adults and children will be utilising the service.

Be loud and proud for the West and get ready to Go Harder for the Finals.
