The United Football Program (TUFP) will to launch its first football camp in mid-April with Williamstown Soccer Club set to host a holiday program with Western United.
TUFP was first launched in December and the Club has been preparing for its first set of camps to commence, with Williamstown Soccer Club hosting the event on Thursday April 21 and Friday April 22, with sessions on each day running from 9am to 3pm at Digman Reserve.
The ethos and motivation for TUFP is to bring football to everyone in the community and to offer support to clubs and their players.
This first camp will be facilitated by Williamstown Soccer Club, but the is open to players from all clubs and players without a club that have a desire to enjoy playing football.
Registrations are now open for the camp, with bookings open to boys and girls aged from 5-13 years old.
The program will accommodate children right from a beginner skill level to players with more experience.
Coaching throughout the two-day clinic will be done by TUFP & WSC coaches who will take the players through fun, skill-based drills and games.
Every registered player will receive a special TUFP playing kit with a jersey and shorts that is only available to applicants in the camp.
The total cost of the program is $178, but any players that register before April 14 can have the $40 cost of the playing kit removed and pay just $138 for the two days.
Western United is excited to see all of the local talent taking part in The United Football Program at Williamstown Soccer Club and in additional clinics to come in the future.
