Final match for 2022

Western United will bid farewell to 2022 as it faces Brisbane on Friday, reflecting on an incredible year on and off the pitch for the Club.

In just it’s third season, Western United became Isuzu UTE A-League Champions for the first time in May, defeating Melbourne City 2-0 in the Grand Final.

After that record breaking campaign, United followed up by launching its inaugural Liberty A-League Women team, earning promotion to NPL 2 Victoria for its Academy side and off the pitch, continued developments on the Regional Training Facility and broke its membership record.

With one more match in 2022, everyone in the Green and Black family will celebrate the year that has been and look ahead to an even bigger 2023.
