Alessandro Diamanti returns

This match will see the potential return of Alessandro Diamanti to the pitch after the mercurial Italian was named in John Aloisi’s extended 20-man squad.

The No.23 hasn’t played a competitive match since suffering a knee injury in a win over Western Sydney Wanderers on February 20 but has recovered and is ready to be involved again.

Diamanti, who has played 61 times for United in the A-League Men, will hope to pick up right where he left off with his impact on the team.
