Western United and Melbourne Victory face off again
The clash is sure to be another thrilling instalment of this entertaining rivalry as Western United and Melbourne Victory go face to face again.
The previous 11 matches have had goals, drama, controversy and plenty of passion on and off the pitch. United narrowly holds the better of the head-to-head record with five wins to Victory’s four, while the sides have also drawn twice. The Green and Black also defeated Victory in the Australia Cup in August.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Fan sanctions in place for Boxing Day match
After the events of last week’s Melbourne Derby, sanctions will be in place surrounding the eligibility of patrons obtaining admission into AAMI Park.
As a result of sanctions handed down by Football Australia, only Western United members or United fans that purchased a ticket prior to 11am on Friday December 23 will be permitted into the venue.
