Western United returns to Ballarat
Ballarat has been a significant supporter of Western United since day one and the Green and Black is delighted to return to Mars Stadium.
The loyal fans in the region have always shown up for the team and will give John Aloisi and the players a big lift on Sunday.
United had two exciting matches at Mars Stadium last season, including a win over the Jets in March, and will hope to provide similar entertainment to the Ballarat faithful this time around.
Western United team news
John Aloisi will be without left-back Ben Garuccio for this clash after the No.17 suffered a calf injury in last week’s defeat to Melbourne City.
The boss will look towards the likes of Josh Risdon, Jacob Tratt and Tomoki Imai to fill in at each full-back position, while Dylan Pierias, Nicolas Milanovic and Rhys Bozinovski could all be vying for starts.
Neil Kilkenny’s 150th Isuzu UTE A-League Men game
Neil Kilkenny is set to make his 150th appearance in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men if he features on Sunday.
United’s No.88 will move to 38 appearances in the Green and Black and add to a long list of milestones that he has achieved throughout his career.
Meet the players at the end of the game
The stars of Western United have treated the fans to signatures, selfies and meet and greets at home games this season, creating an exciting spectacle for the kids at the end of the match.
Get in position to grab a signed Western United ball from one of the players or get your own personal items autographed by your favourite Green and Black heroes.
The players are always up to meet and thank the fans for all of their support, so cheer on the boys so we can all hopefully celebrate a win together at the end.
