Western United’s huge home opener
The Green and Black army will cheer on the players in a home match for the first time this season, and for the first time as A-League Men Champions.
United’s fans produced an outstanding atmosphere in the away end at the first-round match against Melbourne City, continuing to build a strong voice behind the goal.
That carried on from a spectacular Finals Series last season, and the supporters will be ready to fill the bay behind the goal and bring the noise again this week.
Championship Trophy march
Being the first home match of the season, United will take the opportunity to reflect on last season’s Championship success and officially unveil the trophy in front of its home crowd.
Led by the Western Service Crew, the Green and Black fans will march the trophy down Swan Street in Richmond from 3:45pm before bringing it into the stadium and handing it over to club legend Andrew Durante.
The trophy will be on display while the players warm up, providing extra pre-match motivation as the side looks for its first win of the season.
Gosch’s Paddock Fan Village
Western United fans can enjoy some family-friendly fun before the match with a range of activities taking place at Gosch’s Paddock.
From 3:30pm, fans can get competitive with the WUFC football inflatables, get ready for the match with membership, merchandise and face painting, or meet some of the stars of both the Club’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women teams.
As the Championship Trophy march moves past Gosch’s Paddock, fans can also join the group and help carry the silverware into the arena.
$20 General Admission tickets behind the goal
Western United prides itself on providing the most affordable matchday experience in the A-Leagues and will give everyone an opportunity to come and watch the A-League Men Champions.

United continues to foster an inclusive and passionate fan experience and encourages all fans to come together with the most affordable tickets behind the goals to bring the noise and spur on the players on the pitch.
Active Support
The Western Service Crew will be back in full voice to show their support for the team, taking up a spot back behind the goals at AAMI Park.
Get yourself behind the goal, bring all your mates and sing your hearts out all night to push the players on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes.
The Actives will have drums, flags and the megaphone in action from the stands. Join the Crew and let your voice be heard on match day.
