Western United returns to Ballarat

Ballarat has been a significant supporter of Western United since day one and the Green and Black is delighted to return to Mars Stadium.

The loyal fans in the region have always shown up for the team and will give John Aloisi and the players a big lift on Saturday.

United has already had an entertaining game at Mars Stadium this season and will hope to provide similar entertainment to the Ballarat faithful this time around.

John Aloisi could welcome back as many a three key first-team players with Steven Lustica, Nikolai Topor-Stanley and Aleksandar Prijovic all returning to the extended squad.

Ben Garuccio will be eying a return to the starting line-up while Noah Botic will be out to keep his place in the XI after scoring a brace last week.

Giveaways and food trucks galore

Fans in the stands will be able to set the atmosphere for the players with giveaways of Western United flags and balls allowing the Green and Black army to take over Mars Stadium.

Outside of the stands, United will also have an array of different food truck options to ensure plenty of opportunity for fans to enjoy food and beverages throughout the afternoon.

The day will also be a celebration of the Western United Academy and of local community football in Ballarat with a number of junior players to be paraded around the pitch at half-time.

Meet the players at the end of the game

The stars of Western United have treated the fans to signatures, selfies and meet and greets at home games this season, creating an exciting spectacle for the kids at the end of the match.

Get in position to grab a signed Western United ball from one of the players or get your own personal items autographed by your favourite Green and Black heroes.

The players are always up to meet and thank the fans for all of their support, so cheer on the boys so we can all hopefully celebrate a win together at the end.

$20 General Admission tickets behind the goal

Western United prides itself on providing the most affordable matchday experience in the A-Leagues and will give everyone an opportunity to come and watch the A-League Men Champions.

General Admission tickets are available behind the goal for just $20 for adults, bringing the entire Green and Black family together in the bays behind the goal.

United continues to foster an inclusive and passionate fan experience and encourages all fans to come together with the most affordable tickets behind the goals to bring the noise and spur on the players on the pitch.

Active Support

The Western Service Crew will be back in full voice to show their support for the team, taking up a spot back behind the goals at AAMI Park.

Get yourself behind the goal, bring all your mates and sing your hearts out all night to push the players on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes.

The Actives will have drums, flags and the megaphone in action from the stands. Join the Crew and let your voice be heard on match day.

Tickets

Tickets to the match on Saturday can be pre-purchased here.

There will be ticket sales on matchday at the ticket office, but fans are encouraged to pre-book tickets in order to avoid queuing at the ground.

All ticketholders are encouraged to arrive at the match early for ease of admission through security checks. Patrons can only enter through the gate stated on their ticket.

Member redemption

All members are advised that membership cards do not give access to the venue. All members must redeem their tickets prior to the match in order to be admitted into the venue.

Merchandise

All the latest Western United gear will be available at the merchandise outlet located inside Gate 1, including some extra special, brand-new exclusive items available only on matchday.

The 2022/23 Kappa kits will be on sale, as well as stock of all of the WUFC lifestyle items and the brand-new player badges.

Members are encouraged to bring their merchandise vouchers and to stock up on Green and Black supporter wear to paint the stands in United colours to spur the team on.

Parking

There will be access to limited parking on-site at Mars Stadium in front of the North Ballarat Sports Club. Once spots there are exhausted there will be space at the nearby C.E Brown Reserve and in surrounding streets.

Public Transport

Mars Stadium is a six-minute drive from Ballarat Railway Station, so fans can arrive by train and book a short ride to the ground, or anyone that fancies a walk can take a stroll past Lake Wendouree to reach the stadium.
